The image film „Thuringia. A place for ideas“ presents the characteristic potentials of Thuringia as a business and industry location. Six short stories depict typical thuringian situations. By illustrating the “Thuringian way of life” the location factors are more or less superficially conveyed in lifely and amusing small situations.

This image film was developed by order of the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Technology and Labour, the State Development Corporation Thuringia and the Foundation for Technology, Innovation and Research Thuringia.

Since October 2004 the film was shown at presentations of Thuringia as business location all over the world.
