First day of shooting for Mission Sputnik

Today the shooting of the children's film MISSION SPUTNIK, the feature film debut of writer and director Markus Dietrich started in Saxony-Anhalt. The story of Friederike and her friends, who built a machine to beam Friederike's beloved uncle back in the GDR, after 20 years finally tells the true story of November 09, 1989. 

In addition to the child actors Flora Li Thiemann, Finn Fiebig, Luca Johannsen and Emil von Schönfels well-known German actors will stand in front of the camera: Yvonne Elliman ("Rabbit Without Ears"), Devid STRIESOW ("Yella"), Maxim Mehmet ("Men in the City") and Andreas Schmidt ("Summer In Berlin", "The Counterfeiters").
